Neurofeedback therapy may be used to eliminate or improve symptoms of:
Too fast or too slow frequencies cause our brains to be unhealthy. We can normalize brain frequencies and stay within healthy ranges by using guided feedback. During Neurofeedback sessions, the brain is retrained to stay within normal healthy ranges. Eventually, the brain will learn to sustain healthy activity independently.
What to expect during your sessions:
The first step is to complete an EEG recording, an image of your brain. This is a non-invasive process which will allow us to record your brainwaves.
We will then analyze the results of your EEG recording comparing your results to the normal range. A Neuromap report will identify emotional, cognitive, and metabolic issues by showing the areas of the brain that are operating outside normal ranges.
The third step involves Neurofeedback sessions which are designed to stabilize the areas operating outside normal ranges. The sessions use video and audio cues to reward the brain by encouraging optimal patterns.
